Green Thumb?

This is a very random post.  I admit it up front.  But in my defense....I have been told that I need to blog more often.  So, this is what you get when you tell me I should blog more.
In order to protect you from my whining about all the things on the calendar this week and all the activities that have kept me away from home the last couple evenings, I'd like to share my green thumb skills.
Ok, actually I don't have a green thumb but I just can't believe how much this thing has grown this year.  for the past 2-3 years I have planted sweet potatoe vines in the waterfall planter in our back yard.  Usually by this time, it has withered up and died (did I mention I don't water so well?).  This year is a completely different story.

This thing is growing like crazy!  I actually had to trim it back to get it out of the pool.  I guess all the rain has been the big help...cause I sure haven't watered it much.

Nothing like watching plants grow on a blog.  Woo Hoo...life in the fast lane!
