DC Part 1

We decided to take a quick and last minute trip to Washington DC for a few days during spring break.  Neither Morgan or I had ever been so we were pretty excited about it.  And the drive up there actually wasn't too bad.  Here's a few shots from our first day.  We hit most of the memorials and monuments.
My resident photographers at work.  They're much better than me.  I'm a little more haphazard with my shots than they are.  This is back side of White House.
Couldn't crop out the kid picking his nose.  Ha Ha Ha

Notice my skills....the Washington Monument is in the background and you can't even see it.
Korean War Memorial
Vietnam Memorial

Front of White House  (I like the guys on the roof with guns :-)

It was a busy day with lots of walking.  I think we logged over 4 miles.  We were people on a mission--we had a lot to see in a short amount of time.  More to come so check back in a couple days.
