Catching up on Monday

As always, my blogging is sporadic.  Some days I'm in the mood to share the latest and other days I figure everyone is moving along just fine without know what's up with me and the family.
There's really not a lot of fun and excitement in our lives right now.  I mean, everyday life is fun but I wouldn't qualify it as exactly exciting.  I personally think it's a good place to be in right now so no complaints from me.
Let's see what we can discuss today.....hmmm.  Hmmm.  Hmmm.  Drawing a total blank here....for real.
Oh, I know.  My latest exercise kick is kickboxing (nice play on words, isn't it?)  It involves gloves and the punching bag.  You may not feel stressed but when you finish punching that bag, you're definitely not stressed.  Extremely tired and sweaty but not stressed.  For the record, I did NOT choose the color of my gloves.
I had a fun experience with my car after leaving kickboxing last week.  I loaded my gym bag in the back seat and when I climbed in my seat and shut the car door, this is what happened to my back window.  (obviously I am getting really strong from the kickboxing!)
Apparently, I had a rock hit/ding (no idea when or how that happened) and this was the result.  I'm really glad it didn't shatter while I was driving down the road.  It's been replaced and it is as good as new.  Well, not exactly new because I have a couple other things I need to have replaced/repaired at the dealership tomorrow.  I am feeling like these problems are leading to an upgrade opportunity for my car.  HA HA HA.  Morgan even got on the bandwagon with me.  This household is not known for hanging onto a car long term....just saying.  (I'll keep you all in the loop if I have any success with this latest campaign)

We were in Charleston for soccer last weekend and we saw this gorgeous sky while we were at dinner.  This is from my cell phone so it doesn't really capture it.  Hubby was along but didn't have the big gun camera.

Big news.  I am an aunt....well, honorary aunt if you want to be technical about it.  The Young One gave birth to a precious baby girl last week.  Fancy and I cannot wait to love on her and spoil her too.  She is so sweet.  (gotta respect the privacy or I would have pictures all over this blog)

I guess that's enough rambling for now.  Hope everyone has a great week!
Tricia
