A Picture and lots of memories

Sometimes it only takes a picture posted on Facebook to bring back some very sweet memories.
Many of you that followed Jenna's journey from the very beginning will remember our sweet little Ellie.  Ellie was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) at age 14 months about 4 weeks after Jenna received her diagnosis.  I knew Ellie's mom from church because we had volunteered at vacation bible school together.  We were just acquaintences but became much more once we became "cancer moms".  Jenna and Ellie spent many days and weeks on the 7 tower at the old CMC.  We always seemed to be in for chemo at the same time.  Ellie was always a bright spot in Jenna's day.  We all loved her....you just couldn't help it.  Ellie is now 8 years out from her diagnosis.  We don't see each other much any more but we still love her.

Very thankful for sweet Ellie and all the joy she brought to us during some tough times.  She is a very special blessing from God.  Also thankful for all the pictures I have of the two of them together!
