It's been a great summer. It's been low key, low stress and so enjoyable and relaxing. It's exactly what summer should be like. We haven't left York Co. for any extended period so far. We've just enjoyed being home, using the pool, and hanging with friends. It's been the perfect combination.
Now for the randomness.
- Morgan is in soccer camp 3 nights a week from 5:30-8:30 for 4 weeks. Luckily the weather has cooperated....until this weekend. They're calling for triple digits on the thermometer for the next 3 days. 106 for tomorrow's high??? I do not like that at all. It needs to stop/go away now.
- Hubby and I will be heading to Lake Lure tomorrow. We're going to Camp Care for the afternoon/evening. He's taking pictures during a fun dance they have each year. Here's a look at two of the campers from a few years back. Aren't they cute? We are looking forward to it. I was hoping it would be cooler there since it is "in the mountains" but no luck. Their forecast is just like ours.

- What is up with all the high school graduates getting tattoos? Apparently, it's the new "cool" thing to do. I guess I'm just too old to understand it. I have several friends who have waited until their 40's to get tattoos....still don't get it. I've just never had the desire. I understand gravity - enough said!
- I am still totally addicted to Pinterest. I have actually used some of the things I've seen and "pinned" from the site. I bought lazy susan turntables to put under my sink to organize all the chaos that's down there. (just bought them today--maybe I'll take a before and after photo!)
- I'm about to download the latest Dorothy Benton Frank book to my Kindle. I'll let you know if it's good. I think this one is set on Sullivan's Island. Anyone else reading it or read it?
- We're thinking about adding a backyard fireplace with bench seating. It would be off the pool deck and in the area where the putting green is currently located. (the green has got to go--it's seen it's better days) It's a major undertaking so we're trying to decide if we'll really use it enough for the investment. Any thoughts on this one?

A couple random photos from my phone. There's a theme in a couple of them I think :-)
New cushions for patio furniture--love!
Ok, now that's officially enough rambling!
