Back in 2005, we decided we needed a golf cart. It definitely wasn't a necessity but we thought it would be fun and useful for riding to neighbors houses, etc. We'd also learned that enjoying the little things and having fun was important after Jenna's brain tumor diagnosis. She was about a year and a half out from her diagnosis and wasn't in treatment at that time.
We had no idea how much fun the golf cart would be for the girls. They would hop on it and ride down the driveway and around the cul-de-sac in front of the house again and again. And a lot of the time, Wilson rode with them. It was hilarious to watch and the girls laughed and laughed and laughed. Our neighbor who lives across the street stopped hubby one day and told him "I don't know how much you paid for that golf cart but the fun those 2 girls are having is worth every penny". I think it's like a MasterCard commercial. Priceless.
The golf cart was also pulled out when friends came to visit. It was a big hit and fun for all. Putting 5-6 girls on a golf cart was guaranteed fun and laughter.
Over the last couple years the old golf cart hasn't been used as much and spent more time sitting in the garage taking up valuable space. And now that a certain someone has her driver's license, she won't be cruising around on a golf cart when she has other wheels available. Hubby decided it was time to sell the golf cart. It was totally the right thing to do but it was sort of sad seeing it leave. It took a lot of great memories with it....but luckily I have photos that capture the memories and take me back to the exact time they were taken. This is a classic example of taking pictures to record memories. They sure aren't perfect but they're all I need.
Ready to roll.

Took some muscle for the steering wheel. :-)
Extra passenger ready to climb on board.Ok, let's roll.
And a real oldie with friend taking a turn at the wheel.
Keep taking pictures friends!
