Here are a couple random thoughts :
1. This is sort of a rant/soap box thought. With so many areas of social media available to kids today (Ex Facebook & twitter), why aren't parents tuned in to what their kids are doing on those sites??? It just amazes me the things that I see written on Facebook by kids. I'm just getting into "the Twitter" so I'm on the learning curve but it's just as interesting. Some things I've seen are typical kid stuff and some things are just down right rude, crude and totally unappropriate. I guess they still don't get that anything on the Internet is forever these days. Ok, moving on. (if you want to follow me on Twitter I'm @triciawit - can't promise it will be that entertaining :-)
2. We had to meet with Morgan's guidance counselor to plan her classes for next year. It is SO different from when I was in high school. Let's just say the words "Chemistry, AP Biology, & Honors" were never, ever discussed during my high school academic career. And my GPA and ranking was never, ever close to Morgan's. I really believe she's my brother's child and not mine. This area of her life is very much like my brother. We are very proud of her...especially since she doesn't take after me in all of this!!
3.The JV girls soccer team won their first regular game of the season last week 3-2. Morgan scored 2 goals!! Again, very proud of her.
4. I can't believe it's March already. And that it's feeling so much like spring already. We've got daffodils and trees already blooming. All this means the pollen is starting to kick in too. Not a fun time of year for me and Morgan.
5. 2 weeks til we go see Zach Brown Band. We're going with 2 other couples. Can't wait.
6. Also can't wait for dinner with my girls next week. It's been ages since the young one, Fancy & I have all gotten to together. And someone in the group may have a birthday this month!
Ok, enough rambling. Here's some random pictures from my cell phone:
THE camera I was allowed to use for soccer tournament a couple weekends ago.

Tricia, I was just thinking the same thing about twitter and kids! I see lots of high school kids tweeting things that I am SURE their parents don't know about. It scares me for them! (PS: Lupie's rocks. :) )
