Thought I would be "thankful" on the blog this week. Wasn't sure how I would start things off until I came across this clip from the Today show.
Matt Lauer spent a day at St. Jude's as a Child Life Specialist.
So, today I am thankful for all the Child Life Specialists we came to know and love during Jenna's time at CMC. And I am also thankful for their presence in our lives today--we've remained friends with several of the ladies. They were not only great to Jenna but to Morgan too (still are). Words can't describe how they helped us and made the process just a little better. They even visited Jenna's schools to explain what was going on to the kids. These people have a true calling and are a blessing to all they come into contact with. Child Life Specialists were one of the unexpected blessings that we discovered while Jenna battled cancer.
I am thankful that they were there for our entire family.
