Since the day you arrived into our lives
you have brought nothing but joy and happiness. Ok, there were a lot of sleepless nights early on because you had colic and liked to cry...but it passed and we decided to keep you. And there was that time in your life when you wanted absolutely nothing to do with your Daddy. It was mama or nobody for a while...but again, luckily it passed.
Anyway, we are thankful for you and the beautiful young woman you are becoming. Your hard work and determination is evident in every thing you do.
You set high standards for yourself and your friends. You're a loyal friend--to those who have earned the right to be called a true friend. You have a good mix of me and your dad. (I like to claim all the good stuff and blame the bad on your dad...but it's usually not true.) You're a free spirit (I was that way too so I claim that one!) and not a follower--you want to do things your way (that's your dad I think...maybe a little me)
You are a wonderful sister and always will be. Your love and devotion to Jenna are never ending.
She loved you just as much as you love her....she was so excited to have a baby sister. You endured and survived the life as a cancer sibling.....and grew up an awful lot because of it. While we wish it never happened, we are so so proud of you for the way you dealt with it--you kept it real for Jenna and all of us. You can always makes us smile and laugh. Your laughter is contagious. And you are always smiling. (we won't discuss those times when you aren't and you're like realy cranky and evil--people probably wouldn't believe me anyway). You are special, unique and one of a kind.
This could go on and on and on but we just want you to know how very much we love you today on your 13th birthday and on every day even your "un" birthdays!
