I didn't think I was going to have any pictures of Morgan in the snow this year. Her social calendar did not involve being at her own home during the snow. She went to a birthday party/sleepover on Friday night and came home for a couple hours and then took off again for another friends house. It is way more fun to go sledding with all your "peeps" (her word not mine) than be stuck at home with your parents! :-) She finally came home about lunch time today so I was able to get a few shots of her.
With her trusty sidekick starting her snowwoman

Finishing touches (had to be moved out of Wilson range)

Morgan with Loretta....(she wanted something similar to Larry--that was her snowman last year)

Before the snow arrived, the Birthday Fairies stopped by our house. A group of ladies in the neighborhood have started a tradition of celebrating birthdays by having the "birthday fairies" leave a little something in the paperbox each day the week before a birthday. And the best part...the birthday toucan comes to your hosue too. It is usually just done for the grownups but the fairies decided a 13th birthday was a pretty big deal and they wanted to do something special for me since they missed my birthday last year (having a b-day near the 4th of July when everyone travels is challenging for the fairies). And what better way to do something nice for me than by celebrating Morgan? Morgan thinks its pretty neat to be the recipiant of the birthday fairies. So far she's gotten a chocolate bar, brownie mix and a cute bracelet. I am still having trouble believing my baby is going to be 13 this week!
Here's the birthday toucan.

She's an eye catcher that's for sure!
Love, Tricia
