Not about me....

This post will be a little different. I, of course, stole the idea from someone else but that's ok--why else do we read other peoples blogs?
I usually write about me and the family but today I have a blog that's all about my husband....as written by him! (I honestly wasn't sure he'd do it when I asked--but like I told him--he exceeded my expectations! :-)
So--here are 50 random things about my wonderful husband...by him.
1. I’m doing this for my wife because I adore her
2. I was born in South Carolina, but lived in 13 different states growing up
3. I learned how to ski when I was 8 or 9. Out of all my hobbies, it’s the one I’m still best at but I don’t do it much anymore
4. I’ve owned 4 Ford Mustangs, I miss the Cobra convertible, but my current one will run circles around it
5. I love black cars – we currently have 3 of them
6. I’m not a big fan of other people’s children
7. I can’t imagine raising boys – girls are easier, (so far), and they don’t break your stuff
8. I love to read – fiction mostly, action stuff
9. Me & my best friend owned our own painting company in college. I hate painting now, but I can’t stand other people’s work
10. My best friend, Rick, is the brother I never had
11. I didn’t have any serious injuries till I turned 40, then I started falling apart. Knee, tennis elbow, rotator cuff…geez
12. I am a better driver than 90% of the people on the roads, I know everyone thinks that, but I’m pretty sure I’m right on this one
13. I like sci-fi
14. I hated computers in college – now I work for Microsoft
15. I don’t like people in general – it you’re my friend, you’re pretty special
16. I started playing golf when I was 4 years old – I won’t consider myself good until I get below an 8 handicap. I’m a 10 now….I’m close
17. I married way out of my league
18. I still feel like I’m 25, (except for the stupid injuries)
19. I’m in better shape now than I was when I was 30
20. I can fix almost anything
21. I have owned over 20 cars counting the ones we’ve had since we got married – that’s normal, right?
22. I like photography a lot – I’m still not that good at it by my standards
23. I can’t stand to not be good at something – Morgan gets it honest
24. My high school didn’t have a football team
25. My greatest regret will be not being able to see the adult Jenna would have turned into
26. My greatest joy is watching Morgan grow up
27. I don’t like clutter – I’ll tolerate it to a point, and then it’s all gotta go
28. My dad was a hunter – I don’t get it
29. I hate WalMart
30. Thanks to my family genes – I’m not losing my hair
31. I like Facebook
32. I love technology
33. 80’s music is the best
34. My brain is full of all kinds of useless trivia
35. I can’t remember someone’s name 30 seconds after meeting them
36. I raced BMX when I was a kid
37. My first job was Ski Instructor at a local mountain in NH, I was 16
38. My second job was at Burger King
39. My dad was a retail store manager, (Montgomery Ward, Target, Zayre), we moved every 2-3 years
40. I’m an only child
41. We always had a dog growing up, I like big dogs, not little ones
42. I’m not a big fan of cats, the one we have doesn’t like me much either
43. I’m an off the charts introvert – at work I have to force myself to be an extrovert, it’s exhausting
44. I married an extrovert
45. I don’t like basketball
46. Technology has given me ADD, I can watch 2 TV programs and work on the computer at the same time
47. I have a BS degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Plymouth State University – I don’t remember anything from school
48. I can’t understand why anyone would hurt a child
49. I don’t understand why we keep electing career politicians to office – they’re not there to do anything, just to protect their jobs
50. I knew I would marry Tricia the first time I met her

Michael!!!! Love your list....but you do love MY children, right?? And I am "a friend", right??? Great list.....Scott would fall apart if I asked him to write 50 things about himself!!

Love your love for Tricia.....we all feel the same way....I feel like she is a friend way too good for me!!!

Michael this was perfect!! I am pretty sure though that you like Burns and you consider Kenny and I your friends. I also love the fact that I know so much more about you now than I probably ever would!! You are a GREAT dad and husband and I so admire you!! Thank you for being SO GREAT to my dear friend Tricia- you know I love her!!! This was an excellent list!!!!!
