Ski Trip

It is almost 60 degrees here today and it's hard to believe we were skiing in the NC mountains 2 days ago. Morgan had a couple days off from school so we planned a quick ski trip to Sugar Mountain. She has a ski trip with the youth group in a couple weeks so we thought a little extra practice might be a good idea. (and we were right)
We met up with some of our neighbors on Friday morning and headed to the slopes.
Morgan looking ready to go....getting started wasn't as much fun...we walked from the condo to the top of the mountain to ski down and get our tickets, etc. Not such a good idea when your child hasn't been on skis in 2 years....it was a little steep for a beginner.

I watched from above....survived the slopes and that was enough for me.
It's great to live so close to the mountains and the beach....I'm thinking it's about time for a beach trip now!
And this concludes my 100th post here on my blog! Wow....doesn't feel like that many. The posts may get fewer...as I may be reentering the working world part time. Will keep you posted.
