Signs of Spring

There are some definite signs of spring around here. The biggest and most obvious is the pollen....it is absolutely killing 2 members of the household. (fyi--I'm not one of them--just a touch for me) And I'm not one to take advantage of those who are suffering but I do have to say that I am totally enjoying the fact that the hubby is fighting the pollen. This is a man who has told me for 18 years that he doesn't have allergies and pollen doesn't bother him and for the most part I have to say it's been true. So to finally hear him concede that it's getting him this year is BIG. And you better believe I have harassed and given him lots of grief about it too. (I've had allergies and fought pollen for years so I know this whole business pretty well) But of course he follows it all by saying that this year is different--there's some supermorphed pollen out there. I'm just happy having him concede....finally--who cares what kind of pollen it is.

Another sign of spring is the uncovering of the pool. Yes, we can enjoy our staycation at home by the pool now. Weather permitting of course....and the second mortage we'll have to take out to pay the gas bill to get it even a little warm.

I also picked up a few plants to get me started on sprucing up the yard a little. Key word "few". I hope to get them planted in the next couple days. Right after the rain we're getting tomorrow that will wash away the pollen and make everyone feel better--hopefully.And then, course, there are the Easter decorations......some new and some very special ones. Morgan was my lead decorator this year.

Have a great week before Easter!! Only 4 days of school for Morgan!!
Love, Tricia

For the record.... the doctor said it's a sinus infection, not allergies. :-P
