Keeping Busy

For me, keeping busy is a good thing--especially for my mental health. (which I will discuss later in this blog) Today was a busy day filled with spending time with friends and eating. Could it get any better? It was neat to spend time with two different groups of people --one group was neighbors and the other was my "moms group"--it's all moms who have lost children to cancer. (not exactly a group people want to belong to--heck I don't even want to belong to it.) Both sets met different needs for me today--I feel blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. And especially thankful for friends who make homemade chicken and dumplings!

Now--on to my mental health. I am losing my mind--seriously. Do you ever have days where you forget routine things? The other day I looked at myself in the mirror and I thought I looked pale--it was because I had left off my blush that morning. And then there are days when I get to the gym and I honestly cannot remember if I brushed my teeth or put on deodorant. I usually have--so those who work out with me can still stand near me! Any good explanations on why we (I'm hoping I'm not alone) forget those sort of things??

16 days til Christmas..........Morgan likes to give me a countdown so thought I'd share with you all.

Love,
Tricia

No worries...we are getting old...but I promise I will tell you if you forget to brush your teeth or wear deodorant when you are with me....I love you, but I don't want to smell you!!!! Glad you had fun with the girls...you are blessed to have so many people who love you....now me.....???? IT IS WHAT IT IS!

I am so much younger than you and I forget things as well. One day I came to school with NO makeup on!! Good thing my kids could care less. I think it is the time of year as well. You have ALOT more going on. I am glad you have your friends to keep you in check!!! I wish Fancy would get her a blog too!!

Wow--if my "much younger" friends forget their make-up too then I am feeling much better. I think it's a mom thing too--our brains are just moving too fast!

Girls, forget where you put your keys, ask yourself twice if you turned off the iron, check the door again to make sure it is locked...these things I get...but basic personal care issues like deodorant and make-up??? See a Dr. immediately!!!HA!

Memory loss...you too?! Experts say that taking fish oil daily can help improve "clarity", but I can't really remeber, LOL. And to think I take it TWICE daily! :)
