This verse has come to my mind so often this week. It has been a week of great sadness and loss here in our little community with the unexpected deaths of a wife/ mother and a 15 yr old girl. It’s been a week that has brought heartache to so many people and so many unanswered questions. It just hurts my heart……on top of my normal “Jenna hurt”. I thought of this verse and it is so true right now…..”lean not on your own understanding”—I do not understand. None of us do right now. Now I will do all I can do—trust in the Lord—He knows all when I do not.
Please pray for these families that have lost loved ones—it’s never easy to lose someone suddenly but it’s extra hard this time of the year.

I do have to put in a little Morgan update. As you can see from the photo, there’s something a little different about her. Yes, she got her braces today. She was so excited about getting t
hem—it is now the “in” thing to do. Sure wasn’t that way when I was growing up. She’s definitely having some discomfort with them tonight—hopefully this will pass quickly. (she’s much more vocal about her discomfort than her sister was)

Cuuuuute smile! Hope the pain is bearable and that she's able to sleep well tonight.
It has indeed been another very sad week, and I thank you for the verse reminder. I've had so many "questions" this week that I simply can't wrap my thoughts around them. I've thought of you guys many times and wondered how all this has effected you. I'm blanketing our whole little town in prayers.
Hope you guys are doing well. I know it has been a hard week. Your faith is such a testimony to so many in our community.
