I am not a good photographer

One day I will just own up to the fact that I am not a good photographer. I have all these great intentions and then I fail miserably. I know I promised some fun wedding pictures but it just didn't happen. I get too caught up in all that's going on around me and I forget to take pictures. How do you go to a wedding and not take a single picture of the bride in her dress????? In my defense, hubby and a friend were the wedding photographers so there are FABULOUS pictures but I can't use them on my blog right now. That will have to happen after the bride sees them and I get persmission to use them.
For now, you'll just have to work with me and use some imagination.
Many years ago when I was 10 yrs old, I was a Jr. Bridesmaid in a wedding for my neighbor/babysitter, Sandra.  Many years later when I got married, I had Sandra’s 3 children in my wedding.  And now many more years later, Morgan was a bridesmaid in Sandra’s oldest daughter, Susan’s wedding.  That was a lot to process, wasn’t it?  Could you follow it?  We’re all like family and connected in many ways besides weddings.

I didn’t get a copy of me as a bridesmaid scanned so you’re missing out on that—sorry.  Here’s a picture of me with Susan when she was 11 and in my wedding.  We will not discuss the big poofy sleeves on the dress or the big hair.  Mercy!
This is a picture of Susan before she puts on her wedding dress.  Big change from above picture!(here's where the good intentions started...hee hee)
Here's Morgan hanging out while the real photographer was taking pictures of Susan.
Do you see the single ivory rose in Morgan's bouquet?  She was the only bridesmaid with a bouquet like that.  They had the ivory rose put in Morgan's flowers in memory of Jenna.  Wasn't that really special?  They also placed a floral arrangement in the church in memory of family members (like grandparents, aunts, etc) and they included Jenna in the list with all the others.
Here's a close up of Morgan's flowers.
I did get permission to use this photo of the happy couple so at least you can see Susan in the dress.  This picture just says "young love" to me and gives me the warm fuzzies.  :-)
I  promise I'll share all the "professional" photos as soon as I can.  Sorry you had to wait for such lame work from me!

I had forgotten how many ties you/Sandra had w/ weddings - really pretty cool. Cool looking car in the background - is that what they drove away in?

Yes, that's the car they left the church in. It was neat. Michael got some great pics of them looking out the back.
