Different Soccer Photos

I'm showing some different soccer pictures today.  These are a few of the "off the field" photos from the weekend.  We had the State Cup tournament this weekend.  State cup is the soccer term for the State Championships.  Each age group that plays in the Presidents Medal League has a champion.  The high school age kids have their state cup in the fall and the younger kids play in the spring.  (we'll be playing high school soccer in the spring)
Guess which team just happens to be the U15 girls State Champions????? 

Yes, Morgan's team won the State Championship.  They played 4 games in 2 days and it was tough but they did it.  We are all very proud of them.  Oh, and did I mention they also had an undefeated season??

And what do you do when you win the U15 state championship?  You slide down a grassy hill, of course!
The girls saw some little kids sliding on the hill before their championship game and wanted to do it.  We told them if they won, they could slide down the hill all they wanted!  So.....they did :-)

They had a blast!
And now....one proud soccer mom (who is also smiling because we get a break from games and practices for a couple months!)
