A day in the life

I am always looking for ways to entertain my blog audience and I thought a day in the life at boot camp would be very entertaining for you folks.  Denese wanted some pictures of boot camp and since I just happen to know/be married to someone who loves taking photos (especially all things sports related), I hooked her up with a photographer.  While this is great for Denese and her wonderful boot camp, it also meant that I was captured in action in the photos.  UGH.  I have chosen to suck it up and let you all see how much fun I really have while participating in boot camp.
Friday was obstacle course day.
Warming up.
Running through ladder. I look like I'm actually enjoying myself.
Carrying buckets full of water while walking quickly.  Not so fun.
Catching my breath after carrying the buckets back and forth across field.
Squatting and then hopping while extending a weighted medicine ball. (really glad you can't see my facial expression on this one!)
Getting encouragement (??)/direction/motivation from Denese.
Shuffling between and hopping over cones. (white girls over 40 can jump!!)
Mentally preparing myself for the dreaded sled pull.
And I'm off.....
Push-ups.  Please note the excellent form. :-)
And my personal favorite, the tire flip.  (please note the heavy sarcasm of that statement)
The last exercise in the obstacle course was a set of abs but there weren't any photos of that.  (guess it was too dull and not very entertaining to the photographer)   So, we're all done, right?  Not!  We got to do the whole thing a second time (minus the tire flip because we were running out of time)

This was me trying to convince the photographer to go home.  Denese was laughing at me and jumped in for some fun shots!

Now you've seen a day in the life at boot camp.  Don't you want to join me?
