Then the head groundskeeper informed me that our large holly tree would have to be removed to repair the leak and that the tree was probably the cause of the leak. UGH. I do not like removing large pretty holly trees from my yard--for the record.
It's always good to have a large, black furry assistant.
And did I mention that the groundskeeper decided that the best way to remove the tree would be to yank it out of the yard by using his trusty vehicle? Seriously?

The end result.
The assistant still standing by ready to help.
I am happy to report the leak has been repaired. Now I've got to find something to replace that tree--there's a gapping hole in my back yard!
Morgan was the photographer for this event. I was too busy texting my friends about all the fun. Hee Hee
A couple of her artistic shots that I found on the camera.
And then I have to post this. Nothing like having your hometown make the national news because someone hacked into a couple DOT road signs. Morgan and I actually drove past the signs on Sunday--it was pretty funny.
Have a great week, Tricia

For the record, it was a leak in the main water line, not the sprinklers...I wouldn't trash a tree for the sprinklers. :-)
