These aren’t any old pickles, though. These are special secret recipe pickles from Tennessee. Our neighbors first introduced us to these pickles during the holidays. We were at a party at their house when they brought out the big jar. I have to admit we were a little skeptical about them until we took a bite or two or three. They are really, really good. (if you like pickles) We know there’s red pepper & garlic…but that’s the only ingredients we can identify.
It appears the men of the group have become addicted to these things.
So the last time our neighbors went to TN, they came back with 10 jars of pickles for their friends and neighbors. They get them from a little lady who sells them at the local farmers market. I think she was pleased with the size of the order.
If anyone wants to try one, come on over- we’ve got plenty!

OMG - I love pickles. Just spent a weekend at UNC School of the Arts, home of the Fighting Pickles, and had one for lunch. :)
