Brains and Athletics

It was a busy week here which is really not that unusual these days.  This week in addition to the normal soccer, we threw in a little "smart people thing".  (those were Morgan's words, not mine)
Based on her test scores on the PSAT this year, she was recognized as a SC Junior Scholar.  The 3 middle schools in town had a joint recognition ceremony.  It was really well done and they had a great speaker who presented a message that the kids could understand and remember.  And it was even better because we've known Coach Vawter for years...he was Jenna's very first soccer coach when she was in 1st grade.

And then we had the spring sports kick off meeting at school the next night.  It's a fun event that recognizes all the players on soccer, softball, baseball, and track teams.  No actual photos to show from that night but a couple from practice that week.

This was just a glance at a couple of the things that kept us busy last week....there was more of course, but it would probably be pretty boring.
Today we're headed to Columbia for soccer and I'm the photographer--if any pictures get taken at all.  The head photographer is on a golf course somewhere near Litchfield Beach.
