Catching Up

It's been a busy week and I haven't taken the time (or really had the desire) to update ye old blog.  I'll give a brief recap for those who want to know what's up in our world.
MORGAN
  • Morgan started off season soccer training last week.  It's a special winter camp that works on lots of skills and helps keep her in shape for the spring season.
  • The middle school chorus was part of a musical presentation on Friday night. I have to say I went in with low expectations (not knowing about teh other groups performing) but was totally "wowed" by the performances. Here's the middle school group

  • She participated in the FM parade on Saturday. Nothing like a small town parade!!
Me
  • I had the privilege of being part of a new group supported by the children's hospital....although now that I think about it, it's a group no one wants to belong to.  It is a group for bereaved parents--only parents who have lost a child to cancer actually.  Myself and another mom are the "leaders" for this group.  It is something that has not been offered by the hospital in the past but it is definitely needed.  I hope that my experiences will be able to help others....or maybe I'll learn from others!
  • House is pretty well decorated.  Or maybe I should say the house is as decorated as it will be. (photos will come another day--maybe:-)
  • I am still able to listen to Christmas music!
Hubby
  • Took the holiday photos....here's a sneak peek.

  •   Got to play golf twice over the weekend so all is well in his world.  He even played in the sleet for a short period of time on Saturday.
  • Looking forward to travel in the new year....not!  Who would WANT to go to Fargo, ND during the winter???
All of us
  • Thankful for all of our blessings and working to "give back" this holiday season.  So many needs out there this year.  We choose to adopt a child/family thru the pediatric oncology clinic.  We did this last year and it was a huge blessing to our whole family (the grandparents get involved too).  Working on shopping for things on the list....sometimes buying things we haven't bought in a while--nice to buy toys!
Wishing you a stress free, holiday fun- filled week!  Tricia
