Part of Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas.  The days leading up to it were low key and restful.  It's always nice to go into a holiday feeling calm and rested!  Here are just a few photos from Christmas Eve.  We always go to my parents house for dinner on Christmas Eve.  (and then everyone comes to our house on Christmas)  Spending time with family is one of the best gifts of Christmas.

And of course, some presents being opened.  Morgan is the only one who gets the gifts.  We decided last year that instead of buying for our parents or them buying for us, we pick a charity and make a donation instead.  (because seriously--what do we reall need?  Nothing!)  I think I mentioned that we adopt a pediatric cancer patient and shop for them and their family.  My parents do that with us as well.  We had such a great time doing that this year.  We don't meet the family but we had a great visit with all our friends at the clinic when we delivered the gifts.  I wish I had taken my camera so I could have pictures with all of them.  Ok, back to Morgan opening her gifts.

And finally, the family photo....notice anyone's picture up in the corner?  Always with us.  :-)  (and my mom always has that photo on the mantle.)
