got soccer?

Since we didn't have quite enough soccer going on in our lives, Morgan has added a little more. She's currently playing for her middle school team and her club team. The middle school team went to Columbia last weekend to participate in a pre-season tournament on Friday and Saturday. They ended up playing 3 Jr Varsity teams and 1 middle school team. They won 2 games and tied 1 against the JV teams and ended up in the championship against the middle school team and unfortunately lost that one. Then she went back to Columbia on Sunday for a club game which they lost. BUSY. BUSY. BUSY. Here's a few photos....ok, actually quite a lot of photos of the weekend. Someone with the camera took about 1000 pictures over the course of 3 days.
First game of the season (and she scored the first goal too!)....weird seeing her in blue. She's usually in black or yellow. What's with the mouth?....there's a lot of these.

Mixing it up while going for the ball...2nd game on Friday night...got cold...she actual wore gloves.Hmmm....mixing it up again Celebrating teammates goal.
Saturday games...wearing white. Still seems weird with no black or yellow.
Going for the ball....against a former teammate. Obviously someone didn't like Morgan getting to the ball and ahead of her...when all else fails grab the jersey.Now Sunday's game--back to the familar uniform....and the facial expressions continued. Maybe it will snow tomorrow and we can at least get a break from soccer practices for a day or so!
