I had avoided having a cat(Michael was totally on board for this too) for many years when we literally found one in our back yard. She just happened to show up around the same time that one of Morgan's best friends from the neighborhood was moving. How could I say no? The cat was born in the wild and it took us quite a while to catch her and get her acclimated to being around people (yes, we had to research it on the internet). Morgan and Jenna came up with the name "Bunko" for our cat...since our neighborhood had just started a Bunko group. She rarely gets called Bunko, though. It's usually Bunky or fat cat (Jenna started that one).
This is what she looked like when we got her 6 1/2 years ago.

She was pretty entertaining back then.

We did learn that she had some weird habits...like finding places to nap/hang out.

She really doesn't like to hang around us very much. You can tell she's thrilled in this picture.
Although I do think she hung around Jenna the most...mainly because Morgan would never leave her alone and Jenna was so calm in comparison.

It's not too bad having a cat. She's pretty low maintenance and doesn't want to be bothered for the most part. She does hover/wrap around your ankles when it's time to be fed or right after breakfast but for the most part she ignores us and spends her days like this....
Wishing to get outside (she's 100% indoors)
Relaxing in her box.
Rough life for a cat.
Take care, Tricia
