WAY TOO MUCH

This morning on the way to church I mentioned to hubby that I wanted to get some photos in front of the tree when we got home. It's one of those traditional things we do--family in front of the tree dressed nicely and then the big old dog usually gets included too. Simple stuff--or so I thought. Apparently hubby's brain was working over time during the sermon with ideas for our "photo shoot". This is apparently what happens when someone gets really involved in their latest hobby and has lots of equipment that goes along with the hobby.
This was the set up.....which took over 30 minutes!
The lighting set up has to be just right too....
This is all I really wanted.....

Next came the "artistic/I thought of this during church" photos...
Me decorating while the other two play on their phones (this does happen)
The preteen with her family shots....
And finally.....we'd had enough and were losing it....maybe even heard a "people please" being said.

Like I said....way too much for what I had in mind....but it was kinda fun once we finally got started. And yes, the family pets made some shots too....check back later this week for those.
Love, Tricia

Mary--
1. Yes, he's pretty serious about his photography. Taken some classed and read books. Those lighty things are really cheap--FYI.

2. My tree is part fancy and part sentimental. We have another tree that is the same way except probably more loaded with the girls ornaments. Photos will follow....too many pictures these days!

3, 4 & 5 THANKS!!
