Ok, just who invented the idea/notion of spring cleaning? How did it come to be? Why do we have to do it? I could go on and on and on.......anything to stop the process of spring cleaning!
Yes, I should be getting out the trusty vacuum and hitting all the baseboards, blinds, and maybe even a curtain or two but the idea is just totally unappealing to me. Why can't all the little St. Patty's day leprechaun's come to my house an clean? Afterall, they've been running around my neighborhood leaving messes in all the houses with small children--shouldn't they have to pay an penance for all that mess? I think cleaning my house would be perfect! LOL.
I have got to come up with some way to motivate myself into doing this....any ideas? Maybe if I get it all done within a certain amount of days (I'm not crazy enough to say I could do it in 1 or 2 days--gotta pace myself you know) then I can get a pedicure or even a massage....now that could be motivating....or maybe a new dress or a new outfit?? The possibilities are endless....it's just finding that perfect motivation!
So, until I find that motivation.....spring is not arriving at our house!!
Take care,
Tricia

Makes me giddy to think about all the cleaning to be done...of course, I have an illness...but I got excited reading this post...need some help????
See--I knew you would write something like that. It's just so wrong! :-)
I'm just glad I didn't inherit the "clean" gene from Mom. It clearly doesn't become evident until much later in life :-), but I think I'm safely past the danger zone...
