Here's the course layout.
These were real Nascar tires so deeper than the average tire. We decided to take these a little slow so no one would hurt themselves. (we had just seen a lady with a badly sprained or broken ankle after climbing over a wall so we were being cautious)

The big balls were right in the middle of the course. They were fun. No one in our group made it all the way across. We all landed in the water. Here we are looking confident.
No after pictures! Here's a look at the actual obstacle.
There was an "MC"/person with a microphone at most of the obstacles. This guy was at the big ball obstacle and he was wearing a tuxedo speedo and cowboy boots. He was very entertaining. I'll leave it at that.
This was the last obstacle and it was a blast. We flew down it. Photo from ROC Race FB page.
We decided to play in some more foam after we finished.
Waiting for the rest of the team. The whole gang. Of course, I was moving and half of us were looking in different directions. There were professionals throughout the course so I am guessing we may get links to their photos sometime this week. There was no way to capture pictures during the race. They had spectators in one area that was close to the wrecking balls and the finish so those were the shots that friends could take. No professional photographer from my crowd attended. Something about the being there at 7:15am didn't appeal at all.
We are all ready to do it again. We're planning to make a big team next year! Want to join us?
Tricia
