Slackness

It's obvious I have been slack and have not taken the time to figure out how to load photos using the "new & improved" method here at blogspot.  I thought about it a couple times but that's about as far as I got. I guess it's just another post with words only.  I hope you can handle it.
Here's a look at what's happening in our world.
1)  Morgan is taking her final exam of the semester as I type these words.  She has a half day today and then out of school tomorrow and Monday.  She will be heading to Snowshoe, WV for ski trip with the youth group tomorrow morning.  She is packed and ready to roll.  (yes, that means we have a weekend with no child!  woo hoo!)
2)  My kitchen is organized (except the freezer--just keep avoiding that one) and the garage is organized.  I can't wait to show the before and after of the garage.  We also purged a bunch of books and straightened up the bookshelves.   We've made a trip to the dump and to Goodwill.  I don't think this family will ever be hoarders.
3)  I'm in boot camp.  Yes, it's that wonderful time when I get pushed and worked hard by Denese.  We have a really big group this time.  I think there are 11 of us.  The good thing is that it is only a 2 week session and it's indoors.  I can survive 6 days of anything.
4)  To go along with my exercise, I'm trying to eat cleaner and healthier.  More fruits and veggies and less carbs and processed foods.  I feel so much better already.  And the scale seems to like this idea as well.
5)  Hubby is having trouble with his shoulder.  You know it's serious when he asks you to make an appointment with the ortho doctor.  He's been before for rotator cuff issues. He has self diagnosed himself with a pinched nerve based on extensive internet research.  Gotta love the internet.  He has an appointment tomorrow so I guess we will see if he reaches MD status.
6)  We're going to check out a new restaurant this weekend as part of Charlotte's "Restaurant Week".  I can't tell you which one because the couple we're going with are in charge of restaurant selection and I haven't been told yet.  I will report back.  It's always fun to try new places and spend time with friends.   Win-Win.

I think that is about it for news from our little world.
Have a great weekend.  Tricia
