Just some random thoughts and something that we think is pretty neat for a Monday.
- Laughter is good for the soul. Spent the weekend with my former roommates (can't say "old roommates" anymore). We laughed and laughed.....it was the kind of laughing that makes your sides hurt. Thanks for a great time ladies!
- Putting your toes in the sand is good for the soul too. I think sitting in a beach chair by the ocean is one of the best things ever! Totally relaxing.
- Watching people parade around in swimsuits they have no business wearing is good for your ego. We all know it's traumatic for women to find the right suit and put yourself out on the beach.....but you can always find someone out there who makes you feel really good about how you look in your suit. I'm just sayin..... (no judgments for others who may not look so hot in their suit....just saying what people always think!)
- Eating seafood in the Charleston area rocks.
- This is the last Monday of the school year. Two more full days and two half days. (don't get me started on the half days!!)
- Cannot believe that it is the end of school. The years really do go faster the more mature you become (watching the use of the word "older" again)
- Can't wait to sleep in and hang by the pool with good friends all summer.
- If school is ending then that means weekend travel for soccer. Off to Columbia, SC this weeknd--I think. Summer soccer will be very hot. UGH.
Ok, enough of my ramblings. Down to something pretty special. Finishing off with a poem that Morgan wrote this year. I had not seen it until we received a copy of her Poetry Anthology. (it contains all the poetry written by the students in her language arts class).

A warm spring day, full of birds chirping
An umbrella on a rainy day
The world encyclopedia, full of knowledge
A sunrise, brightening the world
The light at the end of the tunnel,
inspiring you to keep going
Your bed, always there for you
My sister and friend, Jenna
Have a great week! Tricia
