Absolutely Ridiculous

I cannot believe the mail we received today.  This is the 2nd mailing we've received in the last 2 months from the American Cancer Society that has been addressed to Jenna.  I have called previously when we received mailings.  How many times does it take to get the message to them--my child died from cancer in 2006 and you provide minimal funding for pediatric cancer research.  Why are you bothering me???
I have called again and was told there would be no further mailings unless they were already at the printers and it could be a couple months before they stop all together.  I am not holding my breath.  And the person I talked to wasn't nearly as apologetic as I thought she should be either!!  Can you tell I'm on a rant?  LOL

 

And don't get me started on the pink ribbon.  Let's just send a deceased pediatric cancer  patient who had a brain tumor a request to help fund the month of all things pink.  (I have supported the month of pink in other ways for the record!)
