Routine

I didn't realize it had been almost 2 weeks since I last posted.  I guess when you get into the routine of school and soccer time just flies by.  I had to sign a midterm grade yesterday.  The weeks are already flying by this school year.
Let me see if I can catch you up on what has been happening around here.
  • Fall soccer has started.  This is club soccer that usually requires a lot of travel.  We have lucked out and have very little travel this season.  Most of our games are about 20 min away in Rock Hill.  Here's a couple shots from the first 2 games that were on the 7th.
  • I was very lucky last week and got to spend about 3 hours with this little cutie.  We had a very good time hanging out together.  She is SO sweet.
  • I am sitting here this morning waiting for the washing machine repair man.  I love the broad range of 8am-12pm for them to show up. I have a new bible study starting at 10 this morning and I'd really like to be there.  If they show up too late it's going to impact my departure time for volunteering at the hospital.  So basically they need to be here now. :-)
  •  The awareness for Childhood Cancer month continues to grow and there has been a lot of money raised here locally for Cookies for Kids' Cancer.  YAY!  Love the gold bows that a neighbor put on our mailboxes.  I saw this on Pinterest and it made me giggle so I had to share.
  • We went to a fun 40th birthday party over the weekend.  Oh, to be 40 again.  Seems so young these days. Ha Ha Ha.
  • My heart is heavy for high school friends that lost their 21 yr old daughter in a car wreck over the weekend and for another family who lost their 26 yr old niece to cancer.  So sad--especially because they were both so young.  Praying for them all.  Don't take a single minute with loved ones for granted!
I think that is the latest and greatest with us.  I am sure I will think of more to add as soon as I hit "publish".
Have a good week! Tricia
