I am back and happy to report that we FINALLY have sunshine and warm weather around here. It's amazing what a little sunshine can do to brighten your mood. All those gray, cloudy and rainy days were starting to get on my last nerve.
Here's just a sneak peek at what's going on around here. It's rivoting stuff so be prepared to be amazed. HA
Lots of planting going on this year. No idea why I've got so many things planted in pots and in the yard. It just means more things to water.
Did you notice the mulch in the picture above? That kept me busy for quite a few days. It looks really nice when it's finished. I hate every minute of it when I'm spreading it. I did the entire front yard BY. MY. SELF. and then hubby conned me into helping him with the backyard. The sad part is that we ran out of mulch before we actually finished. There is more mulch in our future. UGH.

I spend a lot of time talking to these two now that I'm retired from the working world. They're pretty good company.
Once a week I am volunteering at LCH. I am very much behind the scenes but loving it. I was very particular about where I could volunteer. I didn't want to put myself in a position that would make me uncomfortable.....like the oncology floor. :-) My time there just flies by because I'm always busy.
We finished up high school soccer this week. It was time. Morgan was ready for it to be over and so were we.
Now I think I will take myself out back and enjoy this view and the sunshine for a while.
