- BonJovi just keeps getting better and better. They performed well over 2 hours here in Charlotte on Tuesday night. It was a fun girls night. But there was some craziness there. Once again I wondered if I was getting too old for concerts when I found myself getting irritated at the crazies that were seated around us. People my age (or maybe older) who were very intoxicated and had to be visited by security 3 times and told to tone it down. It was distracting that's for sure. BUT it didn't ruin the concert for us--it was absolutely fabulous.

- While I was at BonJovi, our rock star soccer player scored 3 goals in one game. She has officially gotten her first "hat trick". That's what they call 3 goals in one game in soccer. The JV team won 3-0 on Tues and then they played on Fri night and won 1-0. And yes, Morgan scored that goal too.
- Despite all the great goals/wins, it's definitely a "character building" year of soccer. It's been one of those seasons where the "mama bear" wants to come out and whip a varsity coach or give him a big old piece of my mind for the decisions he's been making. Thankfully, I have a wonderful daughter who is rolling with the punches and is a total class act (and thank goodness for good friends who let me vent and who totally agree with me!).
- Sometimes when you're having a bad day due to the above, you make your day worse by dropping your cell phone and killing it. It is really nice to have insurance on your phone. And it's even better when hubby doesn't give you grief about it because he knows you've had a crappy day. (this sort of thing doesn't make him happy. At all.)
- Shoe shopping can make everything better. Morgan found some really cute shoes on Sat. Oh, and she bought some organizational products at the Container Store too. She's my child!!
- 3 weeks until Spring Break. We need to get away. Big conflict--Masters week is also spring break and someone has tickets for a practice round. Did I hear girls only?? :-)
