The Birthday

I am finally getting around to posting some pictures from the birthday celebration.
The day started with balloons on the mailbox.  We love our neighbors.

Then there were more balloons that came from Nana Brenda

And of course there were presents.

And more presents..

And more....

And an envelope with cash is always a good thing for a 16 yr old.

Then it was time for cake. Traditional pose of course.

Time to blow out the candles.  Nana Betty is helping her obviously (lol)

It's not easy to take out 16 candles.  One more time.

And maybe another try.

And maybe the birthday girl gets tickled and can't stop laughing so she has to have real help from her Nana.

It was a very fun ending to a great birthday celebration.  Maybe next time we'll get a family shot.   We always forget.  Correction.  The resident photographer never thinks of it and if I don't remember it just doesn't happen.  Now if she can just find time to do something with her friends for her birthday.  Too many activities and trips these days!
