Toy Story 3

I have to cover a little Toy Story history. We have all been subjected to the Disney movies our kids fall in love with and watch over and over and over. I grew to love the Toy Story movies just as much as my kids. The original Toy Story came out in 1995 and made it to VHS in 1996. I think we got the tape for Jenna at Christmas or maybe before. I can just remember that we were living in an apartment while our house in Whitegrove was being built. Jenna was a little over 2 and I was really pregnant with Morgan. Anyway--Jenna LOVED Toy Story. She would play that tape over and over again. There wasn't a lot of room and you could see and hear the TV from almost every room. :-) (ok, it did get a little old on some days) In January 1997, Disney on Ice came to Charlotte and they were doing Toy Story. Of course, Nana Betty thought we needed to take Jenna to see it and of course Jenna needed a treat from the show. She chose a green army man hat filled with cotton candy. Check her out below.

You can tell how much fun she had with her treat. And when Toy Story 2 came out we went to the theatre to see it and then later bought the VHS version and it became a favorite in the house as well. So, as you tell from the above...the Toy Story series holds a special place in my heart.
I was worried Toy Story 3 might be a let down or not as good as the others. Well, let me tell you I was so wrong to even think that. It was a GREAT movie and it brought tears to my eyes! (they were not related to above story--strictly based on the story line) So, if you have a toddler or a teen--go see this movie. It will be one that you'll add to your collection just like us.
To Infinity and Beyond--
Tricia
