We celebrated my birthday right after the 4th....I got a new digital camera!!! (and not a single picture on this blog was taken with it--hubby has been the photography on most of our trips!)
We took a quick trip to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. It was a great time..if you haven't been a while I recommend you go. They've opened some new rooms and added things to the old ones. The gardens were really pretty too. I think between hubby, Morg, Linda & Nicole there were hundreds of flower pictures taken!

We spent the night in Hendersonville and spent the next VERY rainy day at Dupont State Forest. The waterfalls were gorgeous.
Morgan has gotten good at the posing....I think it comes with being a "pre-teen". :-)

It was a quick trip--do you see a trend here? (LOTS of "quick" trips this summer) We were there for 4 nights--and another trend--it did rain on us twice! I'll leave you with a couple shots.
